The Need For Speed series is on its third installment (not including V-Rally)and the old saying 'the third time is a charm' has never been more true. It just so happens that Need For Speed III: Hot Pursuit is a racing game, and a damn good one at that. If you were good at the game, the AI wouldn't cheat just to make things "interesting". All I know is that I can sit down and play racing games for hours on end. I liked the lack of rubber-banding on their AI drivers. I liked the "European countryside" feel of the first games with open road and great scenery. I loved NFS 2 through Porsche, but after that they decided they needed more "Bling" and "Underground racing scene" stuff that just detracts from the game.
